Out of love and passion for craftsmanship
At Léonie Corentin, nothing is left to chance when it comes to creating a praline from the finest chocolate. The chocolatiers have been able to make a long and exclusive journey through the most renowned houses in France and have found their very own language in the world of chocolate and patisserie. Since 2011, Corentin and Leonie have been living out their love together and are constantly developing themselves and their pralines as life partners, business partners and with a shared vision.
Leonie
The journey began when Léonie realized her dream in 2011 and went to Paris to train as a pastry chef. Over the years, she delved deeper into the world of sweet creations, making a detour to Phillipe Conticcini and his Patissier des Reves and then going to London in 2013-2014 to work in a restaurant. She deepened her skills and dedication as a chocolatier from 2014 with chocolatier Patrick Roger and from 2016 to 2020 with Christophe Michalak in Paris. In 2020, she opened the Chocolaterie Léonie Corentin in the heart of Hamburg with her partner and business partner Corentin.
Corentin
Born in France and raised in Toulon, Corentin has been striving for a craft as a chocolatier since his youth. With his training in 2008 and his first years as a pastry chef in Lyon, the foundation for his dream was laid. From 2011 onwards, Corentin spent time in Paris and worked as a chocolatier for Patrick Roger until he took over as head chocolatier in 2014. From 2016 onwards, he worked as head chocolatier and head of the team for the French master pastry chef Christophe Michalak. The desire to have his own chocolate shop and to get to know his partner's German culture brought him to Hamburg with great joy in 2020, where they both opened the Chocolaterie Léonie Corentin in the heart of Hamburg.
